Bob Ross Effect se vraća u Srbiju

Treštala je bašta cafe Pressinga od novog zvuka kalifornijskog panka. Učinilo mi se da čujem Ramones-e. Leto se bližilo kraju. Šetali smo još u majicama. Da sednemo u baštu – pitala sam druga? Ovo se ne propušta. Naravno, za prvi sto – rekao je Mladen.
Nacrtali smo se bukvalno ispred benda. Ispred nas, četiri momka. Prže. Bučno je. Bašta je na ulici. Sedimo. Skakali bi. Nije bilo prostora za šutku. Lennart Jäger peva i svira gitaru. Jonas je za basom, bubanj razvaljuje Hannes, drugu gitaru trese Peter. Slušamo “The place to be”, njihov prvi album. To smo saznali posle. Pijemo piće i nemoguće je da sedimo. A sedimo. Kasnije tokom razgovora sa njima kažu nam da im je bilo čudno što smo sedeli. Kažemo im da smo još počeli i po ulici da đuskamo, uletela bi interventna. Zatvorili bi kafić. A to nismo hteli. Morali smo da glumimo u skladu sa javnim prostorom. Sedenje.
Bašta je u centru. Možemo da skačemo samo kada smo u zatvorenom prostoru. U ovom slučaju, zimi – rekla sam. Moj drug, isto muzičar, sprema sledeće pitanje. Ne možemo da se ispričamo. Pričamo o svačemu. Kako su i oni novinari, ali iz Würzburg -a, morala sam da ih pitam koja im je dnevnica.
Trista eura – odgovara Lennart i zamišljeno se pita zašto se tamo ljudi bune kada imaju odlične plate. Vi radite baš za sitnu lovu – odgovara na moju konstataciju o platama i honorarima. Spuštam pogled. Bez obzira na kintu, leto me omamljuje. Uživam u razgovoru. Prejaka energija rasturila je glavnu ulicu Aleksinca.”Mesto gde želim da budem’’. Ta energija poslala mi je pismo o njegovim impresijama u Srbiji. Ne bih ga menjala. Prenosim Lennartovo pismo u celini. Na engleskom je.
“Since it was our very first visit we were all really excited because we didn’t exactly know what to expect. We played ten shows in ten days, seven of these shows took place in Serbia. After we kicked off our tour in Hungary we drove to the Serbian border, where we first had some problems to enter the country. We tried another border crossing and it worked out just fine. Most of the shows on this tour went really well and we could draw a decent crowd even during the week. Of course we could see a lot of differences between the concerts in Serbia and the shows and venues we usually play back home. We are used to play with some support bands and were a bit surprised that we were the only band to play at most of the evenings. The venues themselves were surprising sometimes, too. It was our very first time to play in the middle of the pedestrian Pressing, this was in Aleksinac. We really fell in love with the Art Pub Black Fox in Prokuplje. When it comes to the shows we really have to mention the hospitality of all the promoters! They took perfect care of us. They made us feel so welcome. That was an incredible experience for us. Always considering that this was our very first time in these countries. We had the luck that the distances between the shows weren’t that long so we had enough time to see a lot of places all over the country and get to know the culture a bit. We drove through the mountains around Kopaonik which offered us stunning views and a beautiful landscape. We found some time to relax next to lakes and rivers. The fact that some of the promoters gave as tours of their towns was also really interesting and it is always cool to do that with locals. Another thing that we liked big times was the food we were served. Promoters took us out to really nice restaurants and we felt like kings every night. Just the food is probably a reason why we want to come back! The tour was in late August and we didn’t have on single day with bad weather what made this tour even more enjoyable. During these 10 days we met tons of super nice people! Every single night we had talks with all the promoters and people that came out to the shows. Now, about 3 months after this tour, we are already planning on returning to the Balkans. The tour turned out way better than we have ever thought. . So hopefully we are coming back and will see the people we already met and make new friends!”
